COMMUNITY FUN DAY - Saturday 22nd June 2013
Every year in June, the Lions Club of Reading hosts a Community Fun Day in Prospect Park. It is an opportunity for local Charities to raise funds for their individual causes. It is also a family fun afternoon with arena events and other attractions. Past attractions at our Community Fun Day have included Punch and Judy; live Bands; Donkey's; Stilt Walkers; Jugglers; Cheer leader demonstrations, Agility Dogs; childrens Go-karting, bouncy castle and much more. All types of stallholders are welcome including both charity and commercial stallholders.

Fun Day 2012:
A big thank you to everyone who came along, joined in the fun and either purchased items or gave donations. Your generosity will be helping many local charities. In addition, the Lions partner's stall, selling cakes, handbags and costume jewellery raised more than £317 for the Hounds for Heroes charity. This would not have been possible without your kind donations. A special thank to 'Rabbits Hire' for making one of you trucks available to transport all the tents, gazebos and other equipment.
We hope everyone that joined us on the day had fun and look forward to seeing you all next year on 22nd June 2013.
