Specialist equipment for Brookfields School

The Lions Club of Reading was delighted to be able to assist towards the funding of specialist play equipment at Brookfields School Tilehurst. A cheque for £1,000 was handed over to Jane Headland, the head teacher at Brookfields at our November dinner meeting.  

Brookfields looks after 194 pupils aged between 4 and 19 years each with complex and challenging learning difficulties. Our donation will contribute towards specialist equipment that meets the unique and individual needs of the children and hopefully enable them to play and learn in a fun and relaxed environment.
