Our First Fireworks Party

The Lions Club of Reading are proud to announce we shall be holding our first Firework Extravaganza with all profits going to local charities including the Reading Mayors Fund.

The Firework extravaganza will be held on Saturday 3rd November 2012 at Reading Town Football Club, Scours Lane, Reading RG30 6AY. Access to the site is through the railway bridge at the end of Scours Lane. Army Cadets from Brock Barracks will be assisting us with access to the event. Street parking available. Timings

The doors will open at 5.00pm with the fireworks starting at 7.00pm with the evening concluding at 8.30pm. We have capacity for up to 7,000 people in attendance.

Attractions

As well as the fantastic firework display there will be:

• Licenced Bar organised by Reading Town Football Club
• Masons Children's Funfair with rides, attractions and glow sticks
• Burgers, Hot Dogs, Bacon Rolls, Jacket Potatoes and Hot Drinks
• Live Music
• Reading107 will also be on hand with music and competitions 

Tickets

Tickets are available in advance at a £1.00 Adult discount (Adult £4.00 and Children (under 16 years) £3.00 per ticket -non refundable) from reading107.com or local outlets where you see our poster.  Tickets will also be available on the door on the 3rd November at £5.00 per adult and £3.00 per child.

Competitions

We are involving local groups and schools to join in with our Firework Poster painting competition. The best picture from each school will be displayed on the night and there will be lots of prizes for the best efforts. To find out more on how to enter follow this link.

Sponsorship

There will be given out on the night 3,000 programmes full of event information and advertising. If you would like to advertise in the programme please contact Eric Warner at eric.warner@readinglions.org.uk to book your advertisement.

The cost for advertising is Quarter Page £25.00, Half Page £50.00 and Full Page £100.00.
