Reading Cygnets Swimming Club for people with learning difficulties:                                        

The Lions Club of Reading is proud to have a long running association with the Reading Cygnets Swimming Club. We have supported the Club at team events and have pledged this year to support the funding of team kit.   The swimmers compete with much success in local, national and international galas, and hosts its own National Learning Disability Gala in June each year.

This June our Lion President for the year, Dave Ebsowrth, was delighted to be able to attend the local gala and present medals to the participants. Lion President Dave handed out more than 80 medals in recognition of the many great team and individual achievements. Congratulations to everyone that took part. The following pictures are just a sample taken from the day.
